BR13: All About Plants

Plants are very important. We need them for food, wood, medicines, and many other things. We see plants all around us- in fields, parks, gardens, and even in our homes. (p.3)

I didn't know there are more than 300,000 types plants in the earth. I was surprised. We usually see many flower as plants but after read this book I realized there are a lot of kind in plants. This book also introduce rare plants. We use plants in our life. We eat vegetables, fruits. These are from plants. We breath oxygen and it is from plants. We must grateful them. But recently plants are in danger. When we make new homes, roads, or airports, we use a lot of plants. We must leave many plants for children. This book says, "Use paper carefully. Use all paper and then recycle it. Buy recycled paper when you can." I think it is the better things. We can use them carefully. If we do it, we don't have to make something. This book also says, "Be a good gardener. Grow lots of plants, but don't use dangerous chemicals." We also can do it. If we have a garden, we can grow a lot of plants.
